Doing the middle layer

The first layer is solved and you are still on track to solve the complete cube. Nice job and keep going ! Now you will get all the necessary instructions on how to solve the middle layer.

The first thing you have to do is to hold your cube so that the completed white side is on the bottom (i.e. the yellow side of your cube will be your new upper side):

Now you want to solve the middle layer which is equivalent to positioning all the remaining edge cubies without a yellow face, in the correct place.

Notice first the vertical rows on your cube. They are very important for this step:

Next look if you can find an edge cubie on the upper layer of your cube which does not have a yellow face.
