Finishing the top layer: Placing the edge cubies

All you have to do now is to position the yellow edge cubies correctly:

Consider now the edge cubies of the upper layer. There are now only two possible situations.

The first possibility is that one of your edge cubies is directly in correct position or if you do the basic move U (up to 3 times) it will be in correct position.

The second possibility is that all 4 edge cubies are in a wrong position despite of doing the basic move U (up to 3 times).
