Professor for Mathematics and its Didactics

Career path: My Alma Mater is Scuola Normale di Pisa. After my PhD in Rome working with René Schoof, I was researcher at EPFL and KU Leuven. I was appointed lecturer at the University of Regensburg, then I joined the University of Luxembourg as an Associate Professor for Mathematics and its Didactics.

Professional description: In mathematics, my research specialization is number theory (a subject which is relevant to modern cryptography). My didactical projects mostly aim at producing innovative and freely-available material for teachers, pupils, and the general public (see the section Mathematics is Colorful).
